Picked up a new alto sax (Yamaha YAS62iii model) recently, and tried it out in a live setting last night. So stinkin’ amazing, very expressive sound.

Haven’t played out in a few weeks; concentrating on woodshedding. Have to build up my lip; tenor sax embouchure starts to collapse after a while. Very frustrating, but I think I’m gaining on it.

Harp set, then a sax set at a jam session by the Lowcountry Blues Club. Songs included SRV’s Tin Pan Alley, Buddy Miles’ Them Changes, and Jimi’s Little Wing. Need to master the hook on Them Changes.
